I strive to be supportive and create a comfortable atmosphere to facilitate the learning and discovery process.
I teach the fundamentals of singing which includes breath technique, visual imagery, and line.
I want to help my students achieve their desired sound, in their preferred stye, in a healthy way, and to ultimately have the tools to teach themselves.

Rachel is an amazing instructor! Before meeting with her, I had had some previous singing lessons and she really helped me improve my tone and technique. The lessons are very relaxed and I feel very comfortable asking her for any type of advice, whether on audition song choices or just singing in general. I have received many compliments from friends and family; noting how much I've improved after working with Rachel. I highly recommend her!

Our daughter has been working with Rachel for nearly a year and has loved it. She makes learning to sing fun and helps her students to find their passion, stretch themselves, learn great techniques for breathing and singing, and helps them to feel more comfortable and confident. Rachel is a dynamic teacher who tailors her lesson to the needs of the student. Vocal work is very personal, and Rachel comes up with things for me to try that have helped me improve my breath support and vocal quality in just a few weeks. I feel inspired to practice daily. I first came kind of discouraged, and now feel hopeful. I recommend her highly.

Voice lessons with Rachel Leanza have been a great pleasure. She is awesome at working out a schedule for lessons and making sure you're comfortable during them. You get what you give in effort, but she is always there to help and answer any questions. When you do start to experience progress in your voice, Rachel is just as enthusiastic as you are, which makes the lessons quite fun. If you're looking to learn about singing and enjoy yourself while doing it, then these lessons are definitely worth it.

I met with Rachel a few times in order to prepare for an opportunity to sing backup for a performer at a friend's birthday party. She was terrific and really helped me, as an untrained singer, to get ready for the event. I recommend her very highly!
